Oltremateria and its products have always met high quality and design standards. This has attracted the attention of national and international organizations in the sector.
It was a particularly positive and satisfying year for Oltremateria surfaces.
In fact, they have received numerous awards that have rewarded their quality, design, sustainability and well-being.
These are characteristics that have definied Oltremateria products since the beginning and that derive from the corporate culture.
“We have always set ourselves the goal of offering coating systems with low environmental impact to improve the quality of life and well-being of people – says Loris Casalboni, CEO of Oltremateria – and at the beginning we were seen a little with distrust. Time and the high quality of our products, rigorously Made in Italy and eco-friendly, proved us right “.
Archiproducts is the reference portal for millions of architects, decorators, designers, suppliers, retailers, manufacturers, buyers and design lovers who use it every day to find products and inspiration.
This year the international jury awarded Oleomalta with the “Archiproducts Design Awards 2021” in the finishes category for its concept and design.
The same also received a special mention for sustainability for the use of green materials and attention to eco-responsible production processes.
Almost in the same days, the Industrial Design Association (ADI) which includes designers, companies, on design issues such as design, consumption, recycling, training, turned its attention to Oltremateria.
The continuous surfaces in Oleomalta and Ecopur have been recognized as two of the best 2021 products for the Design of materials and technological systems and for environmental sustainability. Oleomalta is the eco-surface based on sunflower oil while Ecopur is the eco-resin with an ionizing effect and which creates a barrier against bacterial and viral proliferation.
In addition, Oltremateria has been included in the important and prestigious ADI Design INDEX 2021 yearbook together with a few and selected companies from Emilia Romagna such as, for example, Ferrari or Technogym.
But the appreciations also come from beyond the border.
In fact, the German Design Council has awarded Oleomalta the Design Preis, also known as ICONIC AWARDS and awarded every two years since 1969.
It is a recognition in the field of design that sees the patronage of the German Ministry of Economy and Technology.
“These awards – says Casalboni – indicate that we are in the right direction and push us to continue to focus on new targets. All rigorously design and eco-compatible products”.
