OLTREMATERIA CERTIFIED DECORATIVE SYSTEM
For years we have undertaken a path of environmental sustainability that has led us to collaborate with institutions, laboratories and companies specialized in environmental certifications and has rewarded us with important recognitions and awards.
The Oltremateria flooring system has been subjected to I.T.T (Initial test time) and complies with the UNI EN 13813 standard (combined in terms of definition with UNI EN 13318 2.13 : Flooring, upper layer of a floor used as a wearing and finishing layer). For wall coverings it refers to the UNI EN 15824 standard.
The Oltremateria system complies with Regulation No. 305/2011 of the European Parliament which establishes harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products.
Oltremateria complies with the regulations in relation to VOC emissions in Class (A+).
All the noble polymers we use are considered notified by EINECS according to the eco-compatible directive EEC/92/32, compliant with the community directive 2004/42/CE relating to VOC (volatile organic compounds) and compliant with the community directive EEC/89/106/IAQ (indoor air quality).
Oltremateria does not develop toxic gases for the environment and the subsoil, does not develop micro dust particles, no level of radioactivity, no release or formation of humidity, formulated in compliance with the regulations relating to work safety, completely free of hydraulic binders (CEMENT, LIME and PLASTER), completely free of epoxy RESINS.
The floor system is fire certified.
Our products are CE marked and even if not required by law, they are codified at I.S.S. The Oltremateria system contributes to earning points in the LEED certification. We are always attentive to the dynamics and development of technologies close to eco-sustainability and the centrality of man and his environment. What we declare is made official by all the analyses and technical tests that are carried out exclusively by specialized and internationally recognized laboratories.
OLTREMATERIA issues a CERTIFICATE OF PRODUCT AUTHENTICITY for each job performed, which certifies the possession of a unique, original, handcrafted and artistic work.
All OLTREMATERIA materials and systems are produced under the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and are CE marked.
Quality control aims to follow the entire internal process from research to production and packaging of finished products. Our goal is high specialization and continuous scientific evolution towards the most advanced forms of technical and commercial approach to applied chemistry and sustainable construction. ECOMAT S.r.l. with the OLTREMATERIA brand is inspired by qualitative growth objectives aimed at improving distribution, production and managerial processes.
We declare that in relation to the study, design and production relationships that exist between our production laboratories and ECOMAT S.r.l., each product or system treated by us or for us complies with all the requirements requested by the Certifying Body.
The OLTREMATERIA system, as far as the activity of the production laboratories is concerned, is produced in compliance with all the requirements requested by the certification body and by the legislation.
CE MARKING = SAFETY GUARANTEE
CE marking is a task and obligation of the manufacturer/importer, it is not bought or sold. An important role is played by the bodies notified by the Member States that intervene in the conformity assessment procedures of any economic operator, inside or outside Europe.

Quality control for the OLTREMATERIA system aims to follow the entire internal process of research, production and packaging of the finished products.

Indoor Air Comfort Certification
The “Indoor Air Comfort” certification by Eurofins certifies the compliance of Oltremateria surfaces with low VOC emission criteria established in Europe.
The “Indoor Air Comfort” standard level certifies how the emissions of Oltremateria products comply with the criteria of all legal specifications issued by the authorities of the European Union and its member states.
CAM ITALIA CERTIFICATION
Oltremateria resin surfaces comply with the minimum environmental criteria (CAM) to be applied mandatorily to public administration tender procedures in implementation of the new Procurement Code.

Oltremateria surfaces comply with LEED v4.1, the protocol that determines the standards for the design, construction, operation and performance of green buildings.
Certification VOC A+
With reference to the most severe French regulations, Oltremateria surfaces have passed the tests relating to VOC emissions in Class (A+), and have also passed the tests for CMR compounds.
What is the LCA analysis (simplified) obtained by OLTREMATERIA
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is the analysis of environmental impacts and costs related to the product system during all phases of its life cycle from the choice of materials to final disposal. It is carried out through the inventory of flows of materials, resources, energy and emissions in and out of the product system.
The entire procedure is defined and certified by the international standards UNI EN ISO 14040 and 14040X
Oltremateria resin surfaces comply with the levels required by the strict Belgian regulations for VOC emissions.
Complies with the requirements of the UNI 11021:2002 standard of 01/12/2002 “paints and varnishes – products and systems for painting environments where food is present – requirements and test methods”, HACCP Legislative Decree 155 of 13/06/1997 and subsequent amendments and updates. Our material is suitable for environments with food presence!

CERTIFICATION RATING F****
The “Japan Building Coating Materials Association” has certified that Ecomalta/Oleomalta Oltremateria have very low emissions of harmful VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and have no formaldehyde emissions, which is why they have obtained the F**** (Four star) rating, the maximum possible.

AIR IONIZATION AND PURIFICATION CERTIFICATION
The OLTREMATERIA system, with ECOPUR, purifies the air in any light or dark condition, 24 hours a day and permanently. It has thus obtained the environmental ionization certification with a value of approximately 2000 ions/cm3. The measurement was obtained with the American “Alfa Lab INC” Air-Ion-Counter (USA).
The OLTREMATERIA website joins Zero Impact Web, the new project of LifeGate, which was created with the aim of reducing and offsetting carbon dioxide emissions resulting from the use of the Internet. OLTREMATERIA by ECOMAT S.r.l. supports Zero Impact, the first Italian project that, since 2002, materializes the intentions of the Kyoto Protocol, supports people and companies on a path to reduce and offset their CO2 emissions, contributing to the creation and protection of growing forests in Italy and around the world.

ECOMALTA/OLEOMALTA by OLTREMATERIA selected and chosen by Matrec EcoMaterials Library for its environmental characteristics. MATREC is the first EcoMaterials Library dedicated to environmentally sustainable materials and their use in the world of industrial production, architecture and design.

The classification of formaldehyde, indicated as a carcinogenic substance, is sufficient to understand what the serious effects of formalin can be and how dangerous it can be for health.
It is commonly used as an additive in many building materials and in many other materials found in our homes.
Daily exposure to formaldehyde in the home and workplace can be harmful. High concentrations of formaldehyde in the air can cause fatigue, skin rashes, headaches, or irritation of the throat and eyes, even oropharyngeal cancer. In some cases, they can also cause respiratory problems, including asthma.
Ecopur® officially joins the list of Biosafe validated products. Biosafe® is a product certification scheme under ACCREDIA accreditation. Biosafe® certifies the recognition and validation of the high-performance ionizing eco-resin ECOPUR® in its Environmental Health Certification Protocol for the verification, design and management of the indoor air quality index in very high energy efficiency buildings.
